Why do I blog?

Computer

I don’t know. But I have some ideas, especially after a great interview with Paige Brown. She is conducting research on how people choose what to blog and impacts that it can have on the larger media landscape. Paige asked some great open-ended questions in the manner of guided introspection to get me thinking. I […]

favourite graffiti

This is my favourite graffiti so far in Montreal. There is more every time that I look at it. I walked around Montreal in the morning but still didn’t have the best light. I added the fog to decrease the impact of the cars – but it may have brought more attention to them. via 500px

I am lucky enough to work with some amazing people in an enrichment program for teens who love science. The leaders create activities to help students explore science in different ways. These exercises are usually more than the usual outreach or classroom activity – but they could be adapted to work within classrooms or for […]

Connecting is important: local workshop

27/03/2014 Leave a Comment

We get so busy but it is important to take a break, connect with others, and see how your work fits in the greater picture. I had the opportunity to do this at a local outreach workshop on March 7th. It was an inspiring day and I loved the chance to see what others are […]
