The Epic Writing Adventure starts today!
If you have something to write, you should join us!
We aren’t picky about the content but if you want to crank out 30,000 words in the next month, we’re happy to provide the inspiration. There are more details here.
If you want some support, you can post your progress on twitter using the hashtag #TheEWA.
We’ve also set up a wiki where you can post your word counts, talk to others involved and if you are feeling brave, share your writing! [UPDATE: wiki no longer exists so link removed.]
If you need props to help with your writing, I set up a quick cafepress site with the Epic Writing Adventure logo. Any proceeds will be donated to cancer research.

What will happen on Mar. 17?
Celebration! It is no accident the day after the challenge is St. Patrick’s Day…
We should all have 30,000 words ready for review – or edits, in my case. We’ll set up some peer review at the end of the challenge if you are interested.
Time to start writing!
I’m off to start my non-science novel based on part of my travels…this first draft will suck but it will give me a chance to improve!
